Entrance to the Museum of Literature Ireland
Description
Located by St Stephen's Green, the Museum of Literature Ireland (MoLI) is an exhibition space created through the agreement and work of University College Dublin and the National Library of Ireland.
The museum, which occupies the space of two typical Georgian houses and the Victorian assembly hall of the former university, offers visitors a comprehensive tour of the country's literary heritage.
In its various rooms, you'll find immersive multimedia exhibitions about Irish literary greats. You'll learn about Ireland's literary culture, from the earliest medieval storytelling traditions to contemporary writers.
The museum also houses several treasures from the National Library of Ireland, such as the first publication of Ulysses. Do you know why this work by James Joyce is so important to the Irish? You'll find out during your visit!

The Museum of Literature Ireland is open Tuesday - Sunday, from 10:30 am to 5:30 pm. However, please note that these opening hours are subject to change.
